I rarely talk about my problems or situations. I just kind of bottle it up and kind of like deal with it or try to handle it. [My therapist] never gave up...[they were] persistent and did not give up on me.”
I really appreciate everything my therapist did for me. They went out of their way to help, and if I could keep them forever I would.”
[My clinicians] are amazing people and go above and beyond for the entire family, not just the child. Never once did I feel uncomfortable letting them into my home—it felt more like family was coming to visit. They gave me a sense that everything was going to be okay, and I just had to take it one step at a time.”
[My therapist] was genuinely concerned about my wellbeing and got to know me as a person. [My therapist] learned who I was growing up, as well as my experiences being in an abusive relationship and becoming addicted to drugs.”
I have never taken to a therapist like I did with my therapist at the Institute for Health and Recovery"
[My IHR therapist] is the first therapist I have ever been able to fully trust and open up to… they helped me gain so much insight as to why I made certain choices in my life. They helped me recognize my triggers and worked with me to find tools to manage my anxiety. We worked on self-love, forgiveness, acceptance, and boundaries. My therapist has played a huge role in why I am clean and sober today. They are AMAZING!”
