IHR’s Statewide Systems and Program Development component builds the capacity of the substance use disorder treatment system to serve women, men, families, and youth with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Staff are present in numerous arenas including state forums and provider groups. On behalf of BSAS, IHR staff work closely with the Department of Children and Families, Department of Mental Health, Department of Youth Services, Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative, and the Association for Behavioral Health Care to support to a range of collaborative programs that impact individuals and families affected by substance use and co-occurring disorders.
