The On-PAR Online Training addresses specific practice/treatment barriers and challenges to integration and implementation of tobacco treatment in behavioral health settings. It consists of four lessons which provide strategies for integrating tobacco education and treatment into behavioral health systems:

The On-PAR Online Training project was developed by the Institute for Health and Recovery (IHR), and its Tobacco, Addictions, Policy, and Education (TAPE) Project. On-PAR was funded through a generous grant from Pfizer IGLC, and the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center (SCLC). Other organizations involved in developing the training were the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS), and its vendor agencies; the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH); and John Snow, Inc., JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc.
