IHR has a long history of providing training in our areas of expertise, such as parenting in recovery; providing trauma-informed care; and information on tobacco use, addiction, and cessation, to name a few. Our trainers have years of experience in developing training and curricula that focus on gender-specific and culturally responsive treatment, maternal/child health, substance addiction, child welfare, mental health, and youth, and on the effects of substance use and trauma on families.
We offer training and consultation on site at agencies that provide human services, as well as live online trainings, and we also host self-paced trainings on the website.
Our Trainings
In addition to our on-site trainings, IHR is currently offering both self-paced and live online trainings. See our complete listings, or contact us at training@healthrecovery.org for information on available trainings or further details.

This training is great! So informative and I love that you do not make anyone speak that does not feel comfortable doing so. It’s awesome that you meet people where they are at.

I did not find a need for improvement, the training was very well planned and well attended, which made it much more engaging.
