Support for BSAS-Funded Program Staff & Clients

Trauma

Dear Providers,

We know that these are very difficult times in so many ways. The Institute for Health & Recovery wants to remind you that we are contracted by the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services to support your programs: both staff and clients.

Although we cannot come in person to programs, we are still available to meet with staff or clients, in groups or individually, to provide support. We can use telephone, conference calls, or video calls to conduct these meetings.

We are available to provide:

  • Drop-In Online Groups for staff support. Details below.
  • Crisis Response: Supporting clients or staff who are being adversely affected by a specific event in the program or in their lives.
  • Stress Reduction: Working with groups of staff members to discuss the impact of the pandemic and identify and practice strategies, tools and resources to maintain wellness in this difficult time.
  • Case Consultation: Discussing individual clients whose behaviors are challenging for staff in order to find strategies to improve things.

To access any of these supports, email the IHR Trauma Specialist working in your region:
